Magens Bay Eco-Hike:

This adventure combines a twenty minutes scenic opened air safari bus ride to the trailhead, Estate Cannan.  Two and a half hours of hiking in a majestic scenery of wild Anthuriums, Bromeliads, Royal palms, Thatch roof Palms, Coconut Palms, Mahogany trees, Mangrove Forest, Black Olive trees, Genip, Tourist trees and many more trees that make up the watershed of Magens Bay Forest ecosystem.

As you hike under the canopy of the forest you will  be serenade  by all kinds of tropical birds including the brown throated  local parakeet (aratinga pertinax)  Come and exploer this award winning trail that's designed by the world famous Nature Conservancy.  The trail begins at approximately 450ft. above sea level and meanders down hill slopes and concludes at on of the top 10 beaches in the world, The Magens Bay Beach.  This glistering white sandy beach is the best beach in the entire caribbean and the world top ten.  You have the opportunity to spend the rest of your day or just a few hours.

WHAT YOU NEED:  Good hiking shoes/sneakers and water to dehydrate. T-shirt, shorts and sun blocker will be useful.  Binoculars, a camera for digital moments and a sketch or note- pad may come in handy--there's a lot of information to absorb.  Bon Voyage!!!
