NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT AND CAPACITY BUILDING SERVICES

BVF provides capacity training for nonprofit organizations. This includes seminars, workshops, technical assistance and contractual services. Descriptions of capacity building services are provided.

 

BVF's staff is well-trained and is certified in providing specific capacity building training and technical assistance advice and consultation in many areas of nonprofit management governance and infrastructure. For agencies, organizations and individuals who are have current website subscriptions,  BVF provides specific services as part of the subscription. Information including rates for technical assistance is provided below. Some technical assistance and capacity building are on a case-by-case basis depending on the specific need. BVF also works and collaborates with other service providers who come with a vast level of expertise. BVF's staff is friendly, courteous and professional. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FORM

Beyond Visions Foundation (BVF) provides technical assistance in governance, infrastructure, board relations, and other areas that assist nonprofit organiizations. Organizations that BVf provides intemediary services for are given priority. Nonprofits who subscribe to BVF's memberhip website receives one technical assistance via email on a semi-quaterly basis. BVF's technical assistance rate is $50/hr after the first 15 minutes.

EVALUATION DEVELOPMENT & REPORTING

Evaluations, particular for long-term measurements, are now mandatory for many federally- funded programs and account for up to 25% of the total program budget. Documented reports of nonprofit organizations state that they experience many challenges to develop sound evaluation plans due to limited staff time, financial resources, and staff expertise.  BVF staff and its partners are trained in development and reporting of evaluation tools that can accurately measure changes in the participants as well as collecting accurate data from participants. 

FIDUCIARY SERVICES

BVF can provide fiduciary services for nonprofits that do not have IRS 501c3 tax exempt status. This may be available depending on the funding agency requirements and guidelines. Not all funders allow fiduciary services and some may have specific guidelines in how the services are to be performed to insure the funder investment. Nonprofits or other organizations requesting fiduciary services are required to complete and have in place a signed agreement with BVF that defines out the terms. 

 

Question: Do the funds received belong to the organization who initially received the funding or the fiduciary?

 

When an organization receives funding on behalf of another organization, agency or individual, the fiduciary organozation is entrusted to insure the funds are expended based on the grantors' guidelines, thereby making them responsible or liable for the manner in which it is spent. In essence, the fiduciary has a duty and, in great extent, the funding award becomes their responsibility.

 

INTERMEDIARY SERVICES

More than providing fiduciary services for nonprofits that do not have 501c3 status, intermediary organizations provide both basic and more advanced services and technical assistance such as program development, pre and post survey evaluation development, program format, and reporting.

BVF can provide grant-writing services for nonprofits, tax-exempt organizations, individuals, for profits, and other entities eligible for funding from foundations, federal agencies, and other funding sources. We work to identify the worth and tangible outcomes your services can provide for your community in your grant proposals. Our grant writing team has over 25 years (combined) of grant writing experience with awards totaling over 7.5 million dollars.
